I completely agree with this article. Parents are so quick to judge their children and punish them for the exact stuff that we do on a daily basis. If my daughter breaks her toy, oh well, now she doesn't have that toy. I tell her to throw it away. If she loses money, oh well, now she doesn't have that money. That is enough of a punishment. We don't need to spank our children or punish them to hurt them even more. They learn from mistakes just like you and me.
